The State Government’s South Australia Works program is one of the key learning, training and employment programs in our State and has been highly successful in linking people with skills and jobs. 
 
Employment, Training and Further Education Minister, Michael O’Brien today announced a new $610,000 project offering high level training and development for 50 future leaders in the State’s defence industry.

  

South Australia Works in the Regions$14.9M to skill 8,500 unemployed across SA regions
South Australia's regions will receive nearly $15 million over the next year under South Australia Works, the State Government’s highly successful program offering skills training to unemployed people in areas of local industry demand.

 

Aboriginal Leadership Register Launch

Fostering Aboriginal leaders for the future
The State Government is encouraging more Aboriginal people to take on senior management roles, positions on boards and committees and other decision-making roles through a new on-line register of Aboriginal people and their skills and qualifications.
